Postdoctoral Fellow

Ph.D. Cognitive Neuroscience, Institute for Cognitive Science Studies, Iran

Yasaman received her Ph.D in Cognitive Neuroscience from the Institute for Cognitive Science Studies, Tehran, Iran, in 2015. She joined the Desimone Lab at MIT’s McGovern Institute for Brain Research as a visiting graduate student in 2013. Following her graduate studies, she became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Desimone Lab. Her research is focused on non-invasive neuro-modulation techniques to establish a causal link between brain and behavior. In particular, she designs MEG neurofeedback experiments to study the causal relationship between brain oscillations and attention processes in humans.
