Eric received his Ph.D. from Maastricht University working on neural rhythms in non-human primate early visual cortex and eye movements. Eric has combined experimental approaches (multiple laminar recordings in V1, V2 and V4) as well as theoretical/computational approaches (biophysical and abstract models). In Desimone lab he will continue his approach to study neural mechanisms underlying attention.
